Love this !!!!!!! July 22, 2008 Reviewer:  M. Moore "M. Moore" Real Name (USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought one of these for my 6 month old and I love it!!

I wish I had one for my girls that are now 5 and 3 they didn't have the "Bumbo Baby Sitter" when they were little.

I would tell anyone with a little infant to buy one because I love mine!! I take it everywhere we go, out to dinner and etc.

Thanks to whoever designed this, it must have been a mother of more then one child!!!

GREAT JOB!!!!!

What a Great Product! January 21, 2009 Reviewer:  D's Momma (Illinois)  See all my reviews >

I recieved 2 Bumbos by accident. I took one back and kept the other. What a mistake!! I should have kept them both. My daughter has been using the Bumbo since she got head control. She is 8 months old now, and it is not only a seat, but a feeding chair too. Very sturdy, great support, frees mom's hands for dishes or cooking, and gives a new dimension to independant play time for little one. Cleans up easily, and using disinfecting wipes hasn't affected the color or texture at all. With my daughter at work with me, we use the Bumbo all the time. Great product, can't say enough about it!

Best invention since slice bread! December 26, 2008 Reviewer:  Snow Mom (Michigan, USA)  See all my reviews >

We got this seat for our 3-month old and she LOVES it! It is made of soft, cushy material and our baby can sit and play or look around without being held all the time. It is very sturdy and does not fall over. The added support in the back is awesome. I would recommend this for any baby that has good neck support, but cannot yet sit independently.

Lifesaver! October 12, 2009 Reviewer:  ruka7616 See all my reviews >

I consider the Bumbo chair to be a must-have for parents with young babies. We started using the bumbo when our little girl was 4 months old. We could place her in the chair and know that she was not going anywhere and that she was safe. She loved it also, giving her a different perspective from just lying down. The price is a little high for such a short time period of usage (our little girl is 6 months old and about to crawl out of it), but worth the piece of mind and free hands to do things around the house.

Bumbo Baby Sitter September 16, 2009 Reviewer:  Joyce M. Shorey "Twins Mimi" Real Name (Tennessee)  See all my reviews >

I bought two of these seats for my twin grandchildren. They were so useful in helping them sit and eat snacks or even meals before they were able to sit in their high chairs. It gave them something else to do besides lay on their back, or sit in their swing! Since then, I have bought one of these for every baby shower I've been invited to.

My child fell out of this!! Only 5 months of use! July 21, 2009 Reviewer:  Concerned Mom!! "Sierra" (Lewisberry, PA)  See all my reviews >

I have loved this item until today! My daughter is a little over 7 months old and has used this item since she was about 8 weeks or so. Today I sat my daughter in her bumbo on the floor so she could watch me and I could talk to her while I was making dinner(something we do daily). She was LESS THEN 3 FEET AWAY from me and in constant eye sight and before I knew it I heard a "thump" and she was on the floor. She landed face down on hardwood floor, with her one arm stuck under her. She has lump on her cheek where she hit. I am beyond furious over this. I never thought that at 7 months she would be able to wiggle her way out of something that claims it can be used for babies. There should be a belt installed on this thing.

When you purchase this item there is no age limit and matter of fact if you go to their site they show older disabled children sitting in this! Not a good idea! The only warning given is your child should be supervised and on the floor, which obviously is not good enough. As far as age limit they say depends on your child!! What!! If you don't know the limits of the product then how are you supposed to know when your child it's no longer safe.

So my daughter only used her bumbo "safely" for about 5 months and when they say supervised they should have said you need to be on top of your child "just in case".

Overall this is not a safe product without a belt which would not be difficult to install!!

Very good product May 18, 2009 Reviewer:  New Mommy See all my reviews >

Whoever came up with this seat... I love you. This is sooooo great. I put my 3 month old daughter in it and she watches TV so that I can get a break from holding her. She really likes it and I love that it actually holds her up. The only downfall on this item is that it is hard to clean. My sister gave me hers from her baby and it has brown marks on it(not poo). I have used clorox and other cleaners on it and it wont come off, oh well. Very good seat otherwise

So-so November 7, 2009 Reviewer:  J. Quinto Real Name (Juneau, AK United States)  See all my reviews >

Okay, I am not a parent, I am a childcare provider of children 6wks-2yrs.
For the itty-bittys this has been great. I am not allowed to use exersaucers, swings, etc. during childcare. So at times when I need to make a bottle, etc. I can place the little ones in these while I get things prepared.

HOWEVER- I have an 8mos. old that just started with me. She's not sitting up very well on her own, really not doing much on her own yet. So, she does need something like this if I am to have her sit on her own while I prepare her food, get supplies, etc.

Unfortunately, she has acid reflux and spits up after every meal. The HUGE downside to this chair is that the center brace is a perfect placement for the Heimlich Maneuver on her, and if she happens to lean too far forward she loses ALL of her meal, not just a little bit of it.

So maybe I've stumbled upon an emergency tip- but otherwise, I'm not at all amused by this.
